Every woman, no matter from what background she comes from, faces the sleepless nights worrying about her look and the scary thoughts of getting old. We, as human, have done many things in the previous century to fight the aging process that kills the confidence of so many beautiful women around the world.
Today, you can find countless of techniques to remove facial wrinkles, from the tradition use of day and night skin care creams, to the fast and quick Botox injection, and the permanent results that plastic surgery offers. But if you do care about long term beauty and staying healthy, you might have asked yourself which is the best way to fight my wrinkles and look younger, without having to take too many risks or having to pay a fortune just to keep it up?
Facial Creams
The major advantage to using traditional anti wrinkle creams is that they are available just about everywhere you live. And if you choose to only use face creams with natural and organic ingredients, there is not much of any foreseeable dangers, like skin cancer or other dangerous side effects.
Most skin care and cosmetic lines are also very cheap; meaning a woman with an average American wage can easily put aside enough money to regularly buy quality facial creams. Even some of the more expensive makeup products from name brands like L’oreal or Neutrogena come in less than the price of your dinner meal in a French restaurant.
The only problem is this: Most creams don’t work, or are not as effective as being advertised on TV commercials, especially when you see those attractive models or celebrity endorsements behind.
Botox Anti Aging Treatment
Botox injections have really taken off since the late 90’s of the previous century, after the Food and Drug Administration approved it for treating wrinkles around mouth, chin, and forehead; and then the whole face in general. Who would have thought that a toxin used to reduce pain for surgery patents became one of the most sought after anti aging treatment methods today!
Most clients report very positive results after taking the Botox shot. This is because Botox not only pulls your skin back to its smooth state; it also weakens the muscles tension around the areas it was injected into. Less tension means less stretching of the skin which in turn prevents further wrinkles.
The downside is that Botox has to be taken every 6 months or so, and it can be an expensive visit to doctors. Depending on your area, a single Botox injection can cost anywhere from around $350 to over $1000. Receiving Botox in salon and spa facilities is usually cheaper then consulting a professional physician to perform the treatment. Just make sure you inspect the place carefully and know that whoever gives you the shot is fully qualified to do so.
Plastic Surgery
This is by far the only known technique to produce permanent anti wrinkle treatment. Until scientists invent something new, nothing else will get you clear smooth face skin like when you were at your teen age.
Nonetheless, surgery is not something everyone is brave enough to take. You have to take a lot of risks and suffer the pain anywhere from few days to few weeks after getting a surgery. But it can be really worth the sacrifice, because if plastic surgery is successful, you will naturally look much younger without having to take any medication or worrying about a second visit to a doctor.
But so far, this is the most expensive – luxury skin care choice, only suitable for those who can shell out at least $3000 or more for a one-time makeover.
If you don’t like taking risks, applying cream every morning and before your sleep is still the most affordable and effective way to keep your skin free of wrinkles.
