False eyelash extensions are used on a daily basis by females all over the world with more and more young women getting their first set but there are still massive amounts of girls that don’t know how to use them properly.
False eyelash extensions come in various qualities depending on how much you spent on them but with the right care they can all look as expensive as each other.
Applying the false eyelash extensions
First step is to remove the lashes from their packaging which is harder than it sounds if you want to do it right. The best way to remove the false lashes is to roll your fingers over the extensions as if you were flattening them out using your thumb. This will gently tease away the extensions and they will come away from the packaging without you losing any of the lashes in the process.
Next you want to make sure that the lashes actually fit your eyes as this can be a problem. Close one eye whilst measuring the false eyelashes against yours. Once you have established that the extensions fit you now have to attach them to your eyelashes.
Again using the packet them came in apply a small amount of glue that you got with the lashes to the surface of the packet. Now rub the bit of the extension that will be attached to your eyelash into the glue making sure you get each side of the lashes well lubricated.
Now close one eye and hold the lashes onto your natural eyelashes for around 30 seconds taking care not to stick your top lashes to your bottom lashes! This procedure is now done to the other eyelash and you should have yourself a wonderful set of false eyelashes.
To further strengthen the look you should apply mascara to your eyelashes with the extensions on so to mesh together the extensions and your natural eyelashes.
Removing the false eyelash extensions
Now comes the removing of the false eyelashes which has to be done correctly if you are going to want to wear them again as many young women do!
Wet a cotton wool bud but make sure its not too wet!
Stroke the cotton wool bud gently over your eyelashes (continue until they are beginning to come away).
Carefully pull the extensions away from your eyelashes.
That is how to remove false eyelashes safely and without causing them any damage, if done correctly you should be able to use them again but not without cleaning them first!
How to clean false eyelash extensions
Cleaning false eyelashes is not very tricky and if you do it right you will be left with a set of false eyelash extensions which don’t look as if they have ever been used.
Take the lid that came with your false eyelashes and fill it with water.
Soak your false eyelashes in the water for around 5 minutes.
Remove any leftover glue or mascara from the extensions with your fingers being careful not to pick off any of the lashes.
Put the false eyelashes in two separate bits of toilet paper and fold it over.
Put something heavy on top of the toilet paper with the lashes in between and leave them for a few hours.
Remove the lashes and you should have a brand new looking pair of eyelash extensions.
If this is done properly you can use your false eyelash extensions over and over again (my best is 12 times) until they fall apart. I know many young girls don’t know how to apply false eyelashes correctly. I also know that many young girls don’t have the money to get semi permanent eyelash extensions applied. I hope this is helpful and you really get your money’s worth next time you get some false eyelashes!
