There are not so many insects in this world that people adore. And this does not simply go because of the physical features of insects. More than just the façade, these tiny creatures can also prove to be extremely deadly as well. This is the reason why they should not be taken so lightly. Insects have also been a major force in some of the most devastating events ever to happen on the planet. As such, you might as well consider that there are indeed those deadliest insects.
And just what are these deadliest insects? Consider this list below:
1. Mosquitoes – Mosquitoes can be considered as the most popular among the deadliest insects on earth. This is not without proof though because mosquitoes are known for bringing in deadly sickness such as malaria and typhoid fever. Mosquitoes do not simply cause those itchy swollen bites on the skin but the mere fact that they use their needle-like stingers in getting some blood off the person is what makes them extremely dangerous. Mosquitoes can easily transfer a set of diseases by biting people. Just think of it as being pricked with needles that have not been sterilized.
2. Fleas – This is the price that pet lovers had to pay especially those who own dogs and cats. Fleas are so little that you can hardly notice them but that does not mean that they should not be taken cared of. Do you know that fleas were actually the creatures responsible for the spread of bubonic plague? Fleas are considerably one of the most unhygienic creatures on the planet and they also rightfully earn the crown of being parasites. Just like mosquitoes, fleas can be considered to be deadly insects because they feed onto the blood of their victim.
3. Bees – The effects of bees may not be as sweet as the honey they can produce. Although bee stings do not automatically cause death, they are still considered as deadly insects because of the extreme allergies bee stings cause as well as the anaphylactic shock it induces. These two are the extreme results which bees can give. Aside from these effects, bees are also considered to be among the deadliest insects because they attack in groups with the slightest kind of provocation.
4. Fire Ants – You will be surprised with how these small creatures can actually be fearsome. Yes, fire ants are also considered to be among the deadliest insects. If their food source become notably depleted they can go on hunting for alternatives and devastate a small village if need be. The stings which fire ants can do to humans are not that deadly and can be treated effectively. However, when they attack in groups they can be much harder to appease and aside from humans they can also devastate a farm. So do not be fooled with the power of ants because when they come in swarms they can really beat the heck out of a place or anybody for that matter.
