The Times of India is reporting that by 2010, the Internet will be hopelessly “deadlocked” with both users and web sites and could potentially suffer a “meltdown.” Their report is based on a recently released study that claims that the sheer volume of data transmitted will exceed the ability of the network to keep up with demand within three to five years.

For months Google has been mum about the release of their Google phone. Tech blogs and news are all full of “information” of what Google Phone would be. Some were expecting an iPhone-like mobile phone that offers a wide variety of services and access to Google’s popular online services. There are also reputable bloggers reporting that Google is working with a telecom company as it will be the sole provider of Google enhanced phone. The move is much like iPhone’s deal with AT&T, bringing fears that Google might be exclusive online with only a handful of mobile phones. We waited for the word and honestly: the announced surprised and made me happy at the same time.

Dude, Where’s My Google Phone?

Ever since the release of Apple’s iPhone earlier this year, the Internet has been abuzz with talk of a new Google cell phone. It seems that now those rumors are quickly becoming a reality. The Wall Street Journal reports that Google Inc. has been in talks with various phone manufacturers and service providers to produce what at least one industry expert has labeled “The GPhone.”
