The WWE has been floundering around a bit with the latest pay per views, so Hell In a Cell was kind of a chance for them to turn things around. Many people in the WWE Universe felt that the powers that be have been misusing their talent, and that the younger stars are not getting enough push. The truth is, Hell in a Cell gave few chances for this to happen, and it really was more about the veterans once again. Hell in a Cell was actually pretty darn good in spite of this, and the matches left some interesting questions for the future of WWE. Here are the matches, along with some thoughts on each one:

Drew McIntyre def. R-Truth
This match was interesting as it was the first real chance for many people to see Drew McIntyre. Drew is one of the more promising wrestling stars in WWE, but his gimmick is a bit undefined. Arrogance can only take you so far, no matter what Chris Jericho says. This was a good match, and it should be a nice springboard for McIntyre. It seems that R-Truth may have worn out his welcome.
Divas Champion Mickie James def. Alicia Fox
This match was rather boring, with not much to add to the Diva division. Fox is getting better, but she is still not quite ready. Mickie James is still waiting on that Gail Kim feud. So are the rest of us.
United States Champion Kofi Kingston def. The Miz and Jack Swagger (Triple Threat Match)
Now this was a match that was fun. The Miz is one of the funniest stars in the WWE, and many feel the WWE made a huge mistake by letting him get squashed in his feud with John Cena. I am one of them. Both Kingston and Swagger are both stars on the rises as well. This is what the WWE needs - young fresh talent that is not afraid to take chances.
Intercontinental Champion John Morrison def. Dolph Ziggler
John Morrison is a Star. Period. The guy is a World Championship waiting to happen, and this match against Ziggler is a good reason why. Ziggler is also among the better workers among the young crowd. I can see this feud going long term, with the World Championship on the line someday. I would love to see Morrison and Undertaker at Wrestlemania this year. What a way to build a new star if they let Morrison take the strap then.
Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show def. Batista & Rey Mysterio
This match was nothing more than filler to me. I love Show and Jericho as champions, but Batista is simply no longer interesting. You can only see the exact same match so many times before it becomes boring. Big Show needs a new finisher as well. The punch might be effective, but it sure is boring.
D-Generation X def. The Legacy (Hell in a Cell Match)
This match was really a chance for X to get some glory back. After losing before, you knew they would not drop another one to Legacy. Legacy truly needs to branch out a bit, and the WWE does not seem to see it. Maybe a turn is around the corner that will pit them against one another. One can hope.
Randy Orton def. John Cena in a Hell in a Cell Match (New WWE Champion)
Thank God the WWE got this one right. Cena is not the right man at the top right now. I am not a Cena hater like many others, but I do feel that Orton should be champ. He is the future of the heels in the WWE, and he was made to look horrible in the fight with Cena before last night.
The Undertaker def. CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell Match (New World Heavyweight Champion)
The only thing I can think of here is that they want to begin a slow build for Wrestlemania with Undertaker. I smell a long reign as Champ leading up to the big event, and an opponent to finally end the streak this year. Hopefully that will be John Morrison. We shall see.
