The Carolina Panthers last took the field in the NFC divisional game against the eventual Super Bowl bound Arizona Cardinals. They left that field with a horrible taste in their mouth, and an eye towards the 2009 season. After the game, the team was in a state of flux due to the possible loss of All Pro tackle Jordan Gross and All Pro DE Julius Peppers to free agency. Also, Panthers fans had no idea if the team would bring back Jake Delhomme after a horrid performance in the final game.

The debate is officially on. Every decade or so there are comparisons made about who is the greatest NBA player. Over the years we have debated Russell versus Chamberlain, Bird versus Magic, and even Jordan versus…well…everybody. The debate on everyone’s lips this decade, however, has been Kobe Bryant versus Lebron James. Perhaps no comparison in the past has ever been more hotly debated, in fact, than King James vs. Kobe. NFC South Predictions For The 2009 NFL Season
The NFC South has slowly been building their reputation each season as the best group in the division overall. Many people think they have actually surpassed the dreaded NFC East for the best in the Conference. Though they still have a ways to go for that lofty status, they are not far from it.
