Beware Of Rip-Offs When Shopping For Gadgets

We always wish that our iPhones will not be as expensive as it is now. The PSP, the Nokia N-Series phones should be somewhere in the $100 to the $150 line so that we can enjoy more pictures, games connectivity at a very small price. However, the reality is not that good. With the price of these gadgets nowadays, it’s quite hard to purchase them on a whim. It will cost more than an arm to maintain these things.

And we might be surprised that we see on eBay, online stores and some flea markets phones that are sold at the price that we really hoped for. Gadgets sold nearly half the price on the popular market. But wait, we take a look at it and its fake! The iPhone is not really an iPhone but a tPhone, the letter “t” was very small we can’t really take a look at them. A Nokia N-Series? Nope, it’s just an NDkia N77 phone. The letter D really looks like a letter O if you don’t look at the pictures. And the PSP? No sir, it can’t really play the cartridge but it can play your NES, SNES and GBA ROMs that you can download from the Internet.

One of the very reasons some people wanted to buy it is because of the price. Clearly, these phones beat the original phones and other portable gaming devices when it comes to prices. Sometimes, people just wanted to have it for fashion. If you don’t concentrate in what you’re looking at, you will be deceived that they have an iPhone as their gadget…cool.

So why do people tell you not to buy those things? No, they’re not advocates of large companies but these people are advocates of original thinking. The knock off products that you buy only encourage the manufacturers to create more of these and ruin the lives of the brilliant minds that created the original phone.

The softwares are also different. In iPhone, you’ll be able to watch movies, access the Internet and all those things Steve Jobs promised for users. The tPhone on the other hand can do more, take pictures and videos dual SIM and easy to install batteries. So why is the original better? These companies sacrifice the quality of the product to save more money and gain more income. These products could and will break at anytime. If you’re lucky you’ll get one that will last really long but it’s a hit or miss situation.

Finally is safety. The iPhone is connected to your PC via the prepared port and iTunes. On the other hand, knock off phones and gadgets can be accessed like a USB flash drive, no software whatsoever. You just access the folder, drag your favorite videos conveniently. Again these features sound really awesome. But these phones are so cheap, and the flash memory of your phone or MP3 player can easily break down. A simple power surge will destroy the flash disk. When you place songs or information even though you only used only 70% of the memory, the flash drive will still suffer plus most of the folders contain a virus even before you first them for the first time.

So be sure in buying these knock offs - a good price is not necessary the best thing for you. Stick to original and you’ll have all the customer support that you need.

I would have to second what you are saying. It’s incredible, as soon as new gadget comes into the market from one of the big players eg Apple, Sony, a copy one is fast to follow, and they usually come from China! I have been contacted by many Chinese manufacturers regarding copy IPODs and now copy iPhone. They offer the copy iPhone in the region of $110. One thing to bare in mind, like you have alreadt said, it’s just the copy of the interface and of course not equipped with the software so you can download mucis from itunes.
