The land of Muay Thai, verrrry spicy food, miles of sandy beaches and great rides; you can never go wrong when you consider Thailand as your summer destination. Tourists from all parts of the world are a common sight when you go to Thailand and you can’t blame them. There are so many reasons why you should consider Thailand.
The first of course is the beaches of Thailand. Among them is the island of Phuket. Hotels with ocean view, golf courses and shopping are only some of the things that you can do in the island. Remember the rides I’m talking about? No I’m not talking about the theme park rides or motorcycle rides. I was talking about elephant rides! Gently giants are for rent in any given day. Locals will give you the ride of your life when you trek the mountains with the elephants. You get to visit the thick forests, see the rare flora and fauna and Waterfalls! If you’re tired of the seawater that surrounds the island, you can practically jump off your elephant and dip into the fresh waters of the forest. Usually these trekking will take you almost half of your day as you start in the morning and that’s why you need to be prepared. For what? For the food that comes with the ride. The elephants are so big, the practically bring everything…including food.

If you didn’t bring the kids, you might as well visit the beaches of Pattaya. This beach became popular because the American soldiers come here if they wanted some “R&R” (rest and relaxation). As a result, everyone else started to come and even some Americans opted to stay here for the rest of their lives. The beaches must have enticed them and now shopping malls, cheap stalls that sell their native stuff are everywhere. However, this place is slowly become the place for adults only as the red light district is getting bigger and bigger. The crime rate should also be your concern so stay away from very dangerous and dark parts of the districts.

Talking about being away from the crowd and Thailand has still something for you. Near Phuket is the beautiful almost untouched island of called the Krabi Island. This island is not really touched by visitors since you have to be away from the vacation trail. The place doesn’t really have those high rise hotels and shopping districts but you’ll be with the locals who will treat you with their hospitality. Bring some money to experience great food.
There are also other islands that you should visit in when you’re in this country. Remember the movie “The Beach” where the actors tried to look for “Paradise” online and ended up in this beautiful white beach with cliffs? Yep, it’s in Thailand. And it’s named the Phi Phi island. You don’t need to swim for 30 minutes just to get to this island. Another island worth visiting is the Kraby Island which is perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving.
Whatever you would fancy in the waters, Thailand has the best of everything you prefer.

I agree, Thailand has a rich and colorful culture, and many exotic monuments and stunning beaches, which draw millions of visitors each year, ranging from budget-conscious backpackers to those seeking luxurious pampering in a spa.
Where else but Thailand can visitors cruise on a converted rice barge, roar upriver in a long-tail boat and take a white-knuckle ride on a bamboo raft, then stay in jungle tree houses as guests in the homes of hill tribe villagers, or on raft houses floating on a river? Equally memorable are the trails leading deep into the rainforest past cooling waterfalls, and the simple beauty of the translucent sea lapping onto endless white, soft sand.
Not to be missed is dynamic Bangkok, a city that is larger than life, with its futuristic high-rise buildings juxtaposed against the glittering Grand Palace.
