The main attraction to see whilst you are in Marina del Rey is Fisherman’s Village. However, there are bicycle trails and rentals to help you escape the boats, and enable you to explore on terra firma. The South Bay Bicycle Trail is connected to Fisherman’s Village, so you can get some peace without ever being far from the beaten trail, or being fearful of getting lost.
Westside
This is the adjacent village to Marina del Rey, and a fascinating one to visit at that. Westside is a unique little place that houses an eclectic and stylish collection of stores, houses, and people. Westside has a very artsy feel as you walk through it, and the shops are ideal for buying little mementos to take home with you. There are some excellent and non-commercial antique stores and art galleries in Westside, and the style of this little town suits visitors to Marina Del Rey perfectly.
Venice Canals
If you enjoy exploring by yourself, and get excited at the thought of seeing beautifully crafted bridges, the Venice Canal bridges will amaze you. Whether you travel on foot, or by bicycle, you will be basking in the splendor of these pretty little areas in next to no time.
