Kuala Lumpur which is located in Malaysia is easily the largest city in the country. The Malaysian King often resides in his palace in Kuala Lumpur, and the Parliament of Malaysia is also located in the city. When you visit the city, you will be impressed with its beauty and splendor. Inner Kuala Lumpur is extremely densely populated, and it gets more so by the year. Kuala Lumpur is the only global city in Malaysia, and there is a wealth of historical, cultural, and entertaining things to do in the surrounding areas.
Whether you have been to Kuala Lumpur before and are just looking of some new stomping ground or you are considering a trip to the area in the near future, here are some of the wonders of this expansive Malaysian city.

Kuala Lumpur Tower
This tower is well worth a visit. It is used primarily for communication purposes, and has been measured to be the fifth highest in the world. The tower was constructed around 1995, and has fast become a tourist attraction because of its size and shape. One of the best things about Kuala Lumpur Tower is that you can get to the top relatively quickly in the elevator. The beautiful but expensive rotating restaurant is the perfect place to propose marriage, or even just take a look out over this wonderful city. At some points in the year, there are races held to see who can mount the enormous stairwell the fastest and reach the peak. During Ramadan, the summit doubles as an observatory, but the rest of the year, it is open to the public. Even if you are not so keen on heights, the photograph opportunities are not to be missed!
Eye on Malaysia
This humongous 60 meter tall Ferris wheel is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Kuala Lumpur. It is similar in design and function to the London Eye in Great Britain. There are actually 42 different carriages including one VIP carriage, and the rotation offers a 360 degree panoramic view of the entire area. A trip on the Eye on Malaysia will allow you to see the Petronas Twin Towers, and the KL Tower from a distance. This is a breathtaking experience, and well worth the waiting in line. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the whole family to witness the splendor of Kuala Lumpur together.
National Science Center
This ingenious and expansive center allows tourists from other parts of the world the opportunity to see how the Malaysian people view science. There are a great many stunning exhibits such as the environmental odyssey, future world, and the curiously named thinking machines. The main aim of this center is to help children begin a lifelong curiosity about the workings of science and technology. Even if you are not particularly interested in learning, you can still enjoy the aesthetics of this wonderful exhibition. The center is open every day for your convenience, and is fully-loaded with equipment to accommodate travelers.
