Bozeman is the fifth largest city in Montana, and is declared as one of the Best Small Towns to live in. An All America city, it is named after John m. Bozeman, who found the Bozeman Trail. Museum of the Rockies

The most interesting place to visit in Bozeman is the Museum of the Rockies. It is a storehouse of paleontological information. It stores the most number of dinosaur remains in the United States. The museum also possesses the largest ever discovered skull of Tyrannosaurus. It has a number of permanent exhibits displaying the physical and cultural history of the Rocky Mountains area. Enduring People, History of the Northern Rocky Mountain Region and Living History Farm are some of the permanent exhibits.

Tinsley House

A must visit is the Tinsley House, which is regarded as a Living History Museum. The house, which is almost one hundred years old, is decorated with old time items, and is preserved to give an idea of the life of people in the1800s. Children can try out dresses of that time and play with toys of the era. Sometimes, meals are prepared in the house according to yesteryear recipes.

American Computer Museum

Another interesting place to visit in Bozeman is the American Computer Museum. It is a museum dedicated to the history of computing and is the oldest extant museum of such a kind in the USA.

The Yellowstone National Park

The Yellowstone National Park is very near the city of Bozeman. The Bridger Bowl is located 16 miles North of Bozeman, while Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort are located in the South. The Big Sky Resort deserved special mention here. It not only offers skiing facilities, but also those of golf, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and tennis. It is a great place to hold conferences, meetings or weddings.
