If you want to see some beautiful historical sights, a great place to start would be Bicentennial Tower on State St. This is a great place where you take an elevator to the observation tower overlooking the historic Bayfront District. The view is stunning from these observation decks regardless of whether you choose the enclosed or open air options.

If you love animals, and want to take the kids for a day at the zoo, then the Erie Zoo is your next stop. This zoo is 15 acres loaded up with over 400 animals. Not only does the Erie Zoo offer a huge selection of animals and fun, but they also offer train and carousel rides and botanical gardens too.

Want something a bit on the wild and wet side? Head over to Waldameer Park and Water World for some fun in the sun. This amusement park offers more than a days fun with a ton of rides, video games, picnic areas and water fun. There are so many things to do here that you can not possibly do them all in one day. It sure is fun to try, however!
