Costa Rica - A Tempting “Rich Coast” Vacation

Costa Rica or translated in English as “Rich Coast” is a Central American country that prides its vast bodies of water and tropical paradise. Before it became a sovereign state, the country was under the control of Spain whom has much benefited from the richness of the land, but eventually transformed the country into what is it today; a delight to every tourist. Today, it is now the oldest nation in Central America that celebrates its liberation.

Because the country has a climate able to support the existence and reproduction of wildlife, it is estimated that it houses more than 500,000 species of biodiversity making the nation among the best spots for wildlife conservation and reproduction.

Among the rare species occupying the green areas of Costa Rica are the Red-eyed Tree Frogs and other frog species that grow only in selected regions in the world. Colorful insects and rare butterflies are also plenty in these areas.

Getting to Costa Rica is easy. International flights from other points in the world are available to take tourists to the tropical paradise of the country. For tourists who prefer to make US their starting point, a flight from Miami to Costa Rica can only take less than two hours.

After enjoying your beach vacation in Costa Rica coupled with a side trip to the country’s wildlife conservation centers, do not forget to grab yourself a souvenir. T-shirts, woodcrafts, necklaces, bags, jewelry and handicrafts are good souvenirs you can find in many stores in the country. Stores lining along the coastlines of the Costa Rica also offer affordable souvenirs that any tourist can purchase to make their vacation memorable.
