Taipei is an incredibly interesting place. It has been the capital of the Chinese Republic for almost 70 years, and is a hustling and bustling type city. Taipei is in essence a large industrial area, where many of the textile and electronics factories are located. The city itself is on the island of Taiwan and is connected to the rest of the attractions by buses and railway lines. The Taiwanese government is located in Taipei, as well as many of the attractions, cultural centers, and historical artifacts. Visiting Taipei is unlike any other experience you can imagine. The people are friendly, the food is excellent, and the entertainment is plentiful.
