One of the things that make this hustling and bustling place unique is that it has harbors on two bodies of water. Auckland is the best populated area in the country of New Zealand, with more than one and a half million residents. This is a wonderfully cosmopolitan area, with a huge Polynesian contingent, and many immigrants from other countries choosing to live there. Surprisingly, there are many small mountainous areas surrounding Auckland, including the Hunua Range on the South-east side, and the Waitakere Range on the North-West side.
