Kansas City, Missouri is an enormous and exciting place to visit. The city is by far the largest and most populous of any in Missouri, and is located where the two major rivers join. Kansas City is best known for its famous part in the Civil War. It played an important role in the Battle of Westport, and the city still houses much Civil War memorabilia. Nowadays, Kansas City is famous for its food and its music. The jazz and blues music can be heard playing out of every shop doorway, and in most of the restaurants. There is much to do in Kansas City, and many places to explore.
