Mumbai, India is one of the most densely populated and multi-cultural cities in the world. If you haven’t heard of it, it might be because it used to be known as Bombay. One of the reasons for the dense population is that Mumbai attracts tourists, business people, and performers alike. In the center of the city, huge headquarters of some large global companies can be found. Bollywood is the Indian version of Hollywood where all of the great performers are born. The harbor of Mumbai accounts for almost half of all of India’s maritime trade, and handles a great portion of its maritime cargo. Mumbai might not be the first place you think of when you are planning a vacation, but it is a colorful and rich city.
