Omaha, Nebraska - Gateway to the West

The largest city in the state of Nebraska, United States, is Omaha, located on the Missouri river. Omaha is also the county seat of Douglas County. In the 1800, Omaha, because of its central location as a transportation hub, received its nickname “Gateway to the West”. Today, Omaha is regarded as one of the top livable cities in the United States. Omaha is the home to five Fortune 500 companies and is regarded as a hi-tech haven too.
