The Charm of St. Augustine, Florida

Considered as one of the oldest cities in the Florida, St Augustine is located between Jacksonville and Daytona Beach. It was known as an ‘Ancient City’ making it a permanent European settlement in North America region. Based on history, it was founded 42 years before English colony in Virginia and 55 years before Pilgrims found Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts. Many visitors are attracted to St. Augustine because it is a town that embodies the pre-colonial historic culture that is mixed with the Spanish traditions. The eclectic shops and historical sites make St. Augustine a prime tourist spot.
