Las Vegas Hotel Guide

Las Vegas is one, if not the most visited place in the country. Everyone wants to have a weekend getaway in Las Vegas and just be themselves without any worries. After all, “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” This quote has been associated with bad things happening here such as adult entertainment and organized crime. Despite this, it has created an atmosphere wherein it can be a wholesome place to stay.

Las Vegas is changing itself for the better. For years now people have come and gone, and they have appreciated all the things they can do. Rides, parks and concerts are everywhere, and they are available anytime throughout the year. People can’t just forget what they did in Vegas, but they can now have a great memory of going there.

One factor that made Las Vegas popular to us all is the accessibility it offers. Since it’s located in a great geographical area, people can easily book non-stop flights any time of the day. If you are in California, you can just take a bus and sleep for a few hours and before you know it, Las Vegas is already in your sight. The weather conditions in Vegas are also great for parties. Since it has dry weather most of the year, you don’t have to worry about rain on the greatest party you will ever have.

There are two types of hotels that you can book when you’re in Las Vegas: on the strip and off the strip. The strip is the main street of Las Vegas, and all the best attractions and hotels such as the MGM, Bellagio and Caesar’s hotels are in Las Vegas. These hotels can house all types of entertainment. Since they are on the main street, the prices for these hotels are higher compared to those which are not on the strip. While you can book hotels off the strip and still have fun, it’s nothing compared to what you will experience on the strip. Most of the time, people just go to the strip to gamble, and then sleep at the off strip hotels. Staying off the strip and going there for fun may be the best idea you can have if you’re just there to gamble. However, if you are with the family, it’s best that you get your reservations on the strip. You may be paying more, but the service is worth it.

Remember that booking in Las Vegas could have some complications if you are not sure of the date. You have to call your Vegas Hotels or your travel agent at least five days in advance to make changes and cancellations. Doing this will allow you to save as much money as you can. Sometimes they will charge a fee if changes are made before the five days, but after that you will be charged with a one night stay plus tax for each room that you reserve.

The best way to enjoy Vegas is to prepare and spend the savings that you got. No need to be frugal in this place since all the money that you spend is really worth spending.

Thailand Travel Guide - Make The Most Of Your Thailand Vacation

The land of Muay Thai, verrrry spicy food, miles of sandy beaches and great rides; you can never go wrong when you consider Thailand as your summer destination. Tourists from all parts of the world are a common sight when you go to Thailand and you can’t blame them. There are so many reasons why you should consider Thailand.

The first of course is the beaches of Thailand. Among them is the island of Phuket. Hotels with ocean view, golf courses and shopping are only some of the things that you can do in the island. Remember the rides I’m talking about? No I’m not talking about the theme park rides or motorcycle rides. I was talking about elephant rides! Gently giants are for rent in any given day. Locals will give you the ride of your life when you trek the mountains with the elephants. You get to visit the thick forests, see the rare flora and fauna and Waterfalls! If you’re tired of the seawater that surrounds the island, you can practically jump off your elephant and dip into the fresh waters of the forest. Usually these trekking will take you almost half of your day as you start in the morning and that’s why you need to be prepared. For what? For the food that comes with the ride. The elephants are so big, the practically bring everything…including food.

If you didn’t bring the kids, you might as well visit the beaches of Pattaya. This beach became popular because the American soldiers come here if they wanted some “R&R” (rest and relaxation). As a result, everyone else started to come and even some Americans opted to stay here for the rest of their lives. The beaches must have enticed them and now shopping malls, cheap stalls that sell their native stuff are everywhere. However, this place is slowly become the place for adults only as the red light district is getting bigger and bigger. The crime rate should also be your concern so stay away from very dangerous and dark parts of the districts.

Talking about being away from the crowd and Thailand has still something for you. Near Phuket is the beautiful almost untouched island of called the Krabi Island. This island is not really touched by visitors since you have to be away from the vacation trail. The place doesn’t really have those high rise hotels and shopping districts but you’ll be with the locals who will treat you with their hospitality. Bring some money to experience great food.

There are also other islands that you should visit in when you’re in this country. Remember the movie “The Beach” where the actors tried to look for “Paradise” online and ended up in this beautiful white beach with cliffs? Yep, it’s in Thailand. And it’s named the Phi Phi island. You don’t need to swim for 30 minutes just to get to this island. Another island worth visiting is the Kraby Island which is perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving.

Whatever you would fancy in the waters, Thailand has the best of everything you prefer.
