Reduce your PDF file size while keeping it readable. Great for email attachments and uploads.
About Compress PDF
Large PDF files are a daily friction point โ email attachments rejected for exceeding size limits, slow uploads to client portals, long load times on mobile, and storage quotas being consumed by bulky scans. Romow's PDF Compressor reduces file size by optimising image quality, removing redundant metadata, and resampling embedded content โ without converting to a different format or removing any pages.
Three compression levels are available. Low compression makes modest reductions while keeping image quality nearly identical โ ideal for professionally printed documents. Medium compression (the default) typically achieves 30โ60% size reduction with images remaining clear on screen and in standard print. High compression aggressively optimises every element for 50โ80% reduction โ best for documents that will only be read on screen.
Common scenarios include: compressing multi-page scanned contracts for email, reducing large architectural drawings for project management uploads, shrinking photo-heavy brochures for website embedding, and archiving old documents to reclaim storage space.
