With an estimated 1400 wildfires burning out of control in California, the federal government has designated parts of the state as a federal disaster area, and FEMA is assisting to put out the blazes with equipment and financial support for victims of the fires. Nearly 20,000 firefighters from other states have also been called in to help with the emergency, and fire departments from neighboring states have donated fire engines and helicopters during California’s time of need.

Drew Peterson: Mystery Letter
Drew Peterson is a man that is surrounded by mystery. His third wife died under mysterious circumstances. His fourth wife’s disappearance is a mystery, and now he has just received a mysterious letter sent by a mystery writer. The letter claims that the anonymous author has witnessed seeing Stacy Peterson in a grocery store in Peoria Illinois. The letter also inquires as to whether or not Stacy Peterson was pregnant as the writer describes noticing a “little pudge” around Stacy’s abdomen.
The Search for Stacy Peterson
Now that it has been proved that Drew Peterson’s third wife was murdered, the search for Stacy Peterson continues. She was reported missing on October 29th, 2007 in Bolingbrook, Illinois after failing to show up at the home of a family member. Drew is not the one who reported her missing. By November 2, 2007 the search has returned little information and cadaver dogs were brought to the Peterson residence. Police divers also searched a local pond in an attempt to locate Stacy Peterson’s body. On November 6, 2007 police searched the Peterson home for a second time. It is important to realize that during this time, the local community continued searching for Stacy.
Kathleen Savio Was Murdered
Drew Peterson is talking this week, but is he saying the right words? Drew Peterson is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson. First, I have to say that it is a bit ironic that first Laci Peterson was murdered by her husband and now Stacy Peterson is missing. It seems a strong case of déjà vu’ and it makes me wonder if Scott and Drew are somehow related or if this is pure coincidence. One thing is true however; their emotionally challenged and deprived husbands will forever link Laci and Stacy Peterson as two women who were victims of the brutal and callous abuse.
Teen and Teacher Sex Case Update
Last week lawyers for Kelsey Peterson indicated that the boy she is accused of kidnapping and having a sexual affair with might be older than previously thought. The lawyer suggested that because the student shaves and has a mustache that he might be as old as sixteen. Since the boy is back in Mexico, James Martin Davis, Peterson’s attorney made a special request for his birth certificate. The age is vitally important to the case because if the boy were as old as sixteen or seventeen, some of the charges against Kelsey Peterson would be dropped, specifically statutory rape. The birth certificate is in. Kelsey Peterson is looking at serious charges because it has been proved that the boy is in fact, thirteen years old.
Alligator Kills Robbery Suspect
I’m from Florida. I’ve lived here for the past fifteen years, and the first lesson I learned was no matter how hot it gets, stay out of the water. It may even be fair to say that alligators are the dominant species in Florida. You’ll find them in your swimming pool, sunning themselves on golf courses, walking down Main Street, and sometimes you’ll even find them under your home. There have even been a few cases of alligators knocking themselves against people’s doors trying to come in. Can you imaging the fear and panic when someone looks through the peephole of their front door, only to find an eight-foot alligator waiting to come in?
Triplets Are a Miracle: Hope Amongst Heartbreak
In a heartbreaking accident, Chris and Lori Coble lost their three beautiful and precious children, Kyle Christopher age 5, Emma Lynn age 4, and Katie Gene age 2. The accident took place on May 4, 2007 in Mission Viejo, California. Lori Cobles and the children’s grandmother, Cynthia Maestri were in their minivan when a semi tractor truck hit them.
Twists in Teen Sex Case
There are some new twists and turns in the latest teacher and teen sex case. I’m sure you remember Kelsey Peterson, the teacher who ran away with her student and was caught in Mexico last week. Her student is an illegal immigrant and wasn’t allowed to return back to the States. Well, Kelsey Peterson is twenty-five and it was believed that her student was thirteen years old. Now, Kelsey Peterson’s attorney is saying that they aren’t really sure exactly how old the boy is. Since he is an illegal immigrant, they believe that his birth certificate was faked and her attorney is requesting proof of his age. According to the attorney, the boy must be older than thirteen because he shaves and has a mustache. If he is older (they are suspecting that he may be sixteen or older) Kelsey may not face statutory rape charges. Kelsey’s attorney is also suggesting that the boy was making plenty of advances towards the teacher and not the other way around.
Stacy Peterson: Investigation Turns to Homicide
She’s been missing since October 28th and now the case is being treated as a possible homicide. Stacy Peterson is only 23 years old and her husband, Drew Peterson, is 53. Stacy is Drew’s fourth wife and now police are going to exhume the body of Drew’s third wife, Kathleen Savio died by accidentally drowning in her bathtub. Now officials aren’t so sure that it was an accident.
Aqua Dots Recall
In a growing number of recent recalls, the popular toy, Aqua Dots has been added to the list. What is surprising regarding this recall is that the product isn’t food based nor is the recall due to E Coli bacteria. The Aqua Dots recall is due to the fact that if children swallow the beads, a chemical reaction will occur that is equivalent to the date rape drug. Again, the toys were created in China (does anyone think there may be a conspiracy going on), and are the newest addition to a growing number of recalled toys produced in China.
