Yahoo News reports that the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has released new information in regards to the number of swine flu cases in the United States. Last week, the number of people who have had the swine flu has risen from 34,000 to 37,000, while the number of people who have died from the swine flu has risen from 170 to 211.
Study Finds That Taller People Earn More Money
A study that was done in Australia has found that taller people earn more money, according to Yahoo News. The study showed that men who were six feet tall earned $1,000 more per year than men who were five feet eleven inches. Men who were six feet tall also earned $5,000 more a year than men who were five feet five inches.
Steve McNair Murder Under Investigation
The murder of Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair may not be the slam dunk that everyone thought it was. McNair was found slumped in the couch of an apartment he had leased with a friend, shot to death. His girlfriend, Saleh Kazemi, was found on the floor with a single gunshot wound to the head. A pistol was found under her body. Though the evidence points to a murder/suicide, the police are not ruling out other possibilities just yet.
