Puffy Eyes: Causes and Simple Treatments

Puffy eyes could be a challenge to remove to some people. Sometimes, we just find ourselves having those bags when we just wake up one day and find out we have those eye bags just sitting there, waiting and wanting to be removed. It may not be easy to remove but it’s easy to prevent and with patience could be cured.

One of the common causes of puffy eyes is the fluid retention of our head in that part of the eye. Fluid can easily be stored under those eyes when we sleep in our stomachs. Overnight, the fluids in our body go to the head and do not circulate properly.

If you have puffy eyes, the best remedy is to sleep with your heads elevated in a higher than normal position. One night is enough to get those waters out under our eyes. Another remedy is to place cool bags in our eyes. There are eye gels that you can purchase in various pharmacies. Just cool the bags in the fridge and just put them on like you’re putting some glasses. Remember the thing that they call “beauty rest” in some spas with cucumbers in their eyes? That could also work and you don’t to buy those gels.

Lymph flow also plays a major role in this simple yet irritating condition. Lack of the proper lymph flow will also cause these eye bags to appear under your eyes. You can’t ignore them since it’s going to be there everyday unless you do something about it. Aside from sleeping in the right position two simple exercises can also help to develop your lymph flow: Deep Breathes and Jumping Jacks. Do ten of these everyday and keep those bags away.

The things that you eat and you don’t drink can also result in puffy eyes. Sodium can also trigger ballooning of your eyes. If you want to keep those eyes beautiful, make sure that you think twice before you take anything salty and really salty. You’ll have a very hard time removing them as they will stay there for a while. Exercise might help but as long as you’re under the spell of salty foods, you can’t easily get them out. On the other hand, the lack of water intake could also result in puffy eyes; yes the lack of water could lead to deposits under your eyes. What you can do? Get a glass and drink more water. Not juices or any drinks but water. This will trigger water flow and get the waters stuck under your eyes out.

Lastly, but certainly one of the causes of puffy eyes is unfortunately; when we come to age that our bodies will just have to have them. But don’t worry as this is not the end of the world when you think there is no cure. Even though exercise, water and an unsalted diet could not remove something that is caused by aging, you can still remove them through simple operation.

Whatever the cause of our puffy eyes is, there’s always a solution. Contact a professional to give you the proper advice on how to remove and prevent them.

I hear that the Canadian version of preparation H actually helps with puffy eyes because it tightens the skin. The FDA actually ordered that the American version be reformulated because it worked so well.
