Lemon Detox Diet

Lemon Detox diet is becoming more popular these days since many health experts and doctors claimed that this provides various health benefits to a person’s body.

Here is the list of health benefits a person may gain after undergoing this kind of detoxification diet:

Lemons contains high-level of vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, which is scientifically-proven to effectively cleanse the body and wash out harmful toxins out of the system.

The cayenne pepper, another key ingredient, will effectively speed up the person’s metabolism which will in turn allow body toxins to be flushed out the system immediately. Many experts believe that people should occasionally undergo detoxification process since modern lifestyle promotes unhealthy living, excessive consumption of junks foods and greasy products, sedentary lifestyle, and stress. Also, pollution greatly contributes to people’s unhealthy physique, reducing the quality of life.

For those people who are interested to take Lemon Detox Diet program, they need two tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemons and another two for maple syrup. (Do not use concentrated lemons and maple syrup are any of which that had undergone chemical process since this contains preservatives and with much lesser ascorbic acid content and reduced essential nutrients.) These two ingredients will be then mixed with 1/10 of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, after this has been done, the mixture is then blended to an 8-ounce of clean water. People should take note not to use hot water since ascorbic acid present in the lemons may be destroyed or reduced.

Lemon Detox Diet has been widely-used due to the reason that its ingredients are made easily available at a much lower cost compared to other types of detoxification diet, but just like most diet programs, people should be aware that undergoing this process requires extreme discipline and determination since they must stay away from junk foods, caffeine, and other unhealthy products which may lessen the effectiveness of the lemon detox diet.

Since many people reported to gain a lot of health benefits after undergoing this detoxification program, doctors have tested if this really promotes an overall healthy body. They found out that lemon diet really works, but still they advise to people—especially those who are overweight or obese, and those with underlying severe health conditions—that before considering undergoing this diet program, they should first seek their physician’s advice. But overall, this detoxification diet is suitable for most people.

I heard that lemon juice along with honey mixed in water also helps to cleanse. Any way this is nice information for who believe in ‘Natural way of Living’…

When doing the lemon detox diet? How often to you drink the mixture and whatelse are you allowed to eat or drink? You cant just live off lemon juice, water, maple syrup and cyanne pepper…. also: how long does one do this detox for??

I had lots of lemons and not knowing what else to do with these I jumped on the bandwagon and started the lemon detox diet. It is day 3 and this is my experience so far:
Day 1 - major headache (caffeine withdrawal/ I was on about 5 strong espressos a day recently).
Day 2 - The headaches subsided by middle of the day. Physical energy is up but it’s awful having to cook for the family and say no.I don’t enjoy those drinks.
Day 3 - Feel like an accomplished detoxer. Resisting food is still hard but amazingly, you do not feel hungry (greedy yes but not hungry). I am used to this. Scales show I’ve dropped two kilos this morning.

I was told that the ingrediants for this diet is 2 cups of organic maple syrup, 2 cups pure lemon juice, pinch of cayanne pepper and 4 cups of water. Is this mixture right for the lemonade diet?

will this diet harm me in anyway and is it bad for 14& 15 year olds to do this? my freind and i wanna do a detoxation for a week. please help me out.

I’m doing this on Monday, and i’m excited but nervous at the same time. i’m not sure if i can go without eating for a week and just live off this lemonade.
My best friend is doing this detox and she says her skin looks great and lost 2 lbs. she encouraged me to try it so i will start it on monday wish me luck xoxo
