1. Wear SPF at all times of year. One of the biggest factors that contributes to the appearance of aging is sun damage. Remember that you experience the effects of the sun at all times of the year. This is why it is so important to not forget to use sun block. Also keep in mind that the UV rays in tanning beds will speed up the appearance of aging as well.

2. Find the right skin care system for you. It is important to use a skin cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer. Remember that you will want to find the products which are most suitable for your skin type. Most products offer skin care products designed for specific types, such as for oily skin, sensitive skin, dry skin, etc. Also keep in mind that everyone’s skin is different, so how often you need to use these products and which one will be the most important for your skin is going to vary.

3. Know that your diet can have a huge impact on the appearance of your skin. Drinking eight 8 oz. glasses of water daily will help keep your skin hydrated. Eating a diet that consists mainly of fruits and vegetables will also help ensure that your skin looks beautiful. Foods with less nutritional value, such as greasy foods and sugary treats, can cause your skin to break out more easily. Also know that foods which are high Omega-3, such as fish and nuts, are known to be very healthy for the skin.

4. Always wash off your makeup before going to sleep, but even more importantly, actually get the recommended amount of sleep. For women, this is usually about eight hours of sleep. If you don’t sleep enough, you are only going to have dark circles underneath your eyes. This is a problem that can affect someone at any age, and it is definitely not a problem that anyone wants.

5. If you seem to have reoccurring skin problems, visit a dermatologist. Make sure that you do not have any skin conditions. Eczema, psoriasis, and a variety of other conditions are known to be common problems that can affect the skin. Seeking proper treatment will help ensure that your skin looks as beautiful as possible.

Beautiful skin may seem very challenging, but it is important to keep in mind that it doesn’t need to be. Following these simple tips can help ensure that you will have the healthiest skin at any age. Keeping your skin protected from the sun, finding the right skin care system, following a proper diet, getting the right amount of sleep, and visiting a dermatologist are a few of the easy steps that you can take for the best looking skin.
