The PS3 and the Wii are two of the most popular gaming consoles on the market today. Both have things about them that are unique and exciting, and some people prefer one over the other. Trying to decide between the two is something that we should rejoice about. There was a time when we had not even one of these great gaming consoles around. Now we can choose between two great consoles at a minimum. Which one of these gaming consoles are the better choice for gamers, though? You might get a varied response to this question, but I believe that it is clearly the PS3 over the Wii.
The PS3 is easily considered the most advanced technologically. The PS3 has not even begun to scratch the surface of the potential this console has. That is scary when you consider how incredible it already is. The Wii is actually a bit dated in this area, because the focus is more on the new way to play. While the aerobics, and unique game play are interesting for a time, the vast number of Wii gamers end up going to the regular gaming controller when the option is available. The PS3 will have much longer shelf life because it has not reached the limits of it’s gaming power.
The Wii is more about the delivery than the game itself. The games are not nearly as in depth as the PS3. They are limited it seems and not nearly as fun as the PS3 on the whole. The gaming experience of the Wii screams that it might be a fad that passes in the night. The PS3 remains as fresh today as the day it hit the market. It will only get better as they harness the power of the PS3.
The PS3 is also very versatile. It has high definition, DVD and Blue-Ray Player, and the best gaming experience in the industry. The Wii has no DVD player, much less a Blue-Ray player. The Wii has no high definition capabilities. The Wii has no real extras whatsoever. The gaming experience is great fun, but I find myself getting bored after a while with the Wii. I find myself wanting that deep video game experience that I can only seem to find on the PS3.
For these reasons, I find the Wii to come up short. I love the concept of the Wii, but it is not something that lasts for me. Once the novelty wears off, the Wii to me is just a gimmick. The PS3 feels like a high powered console that is only starting to tap it’s potential. For this reason, I pick the PS3 over the Wii every time.
the ps3 is not popular.it has the worse sells.the wii is used for different things.it is just a normal console with internet.the ps3 is a computer,a blu-ray DVD player, and a console. stop comparing them
