Having spent a great deal of time over the years playing free online games, I have had occasion to spend some time at Pogo.com. Pogo.com is a free online gaming site that offers games in many different categories. Each of these games offer various progressive “jackpots” that you can win if you are lucky enough to spin and land on it. You get these jackpot spins by playing their games, and actually completing specific actions in the games. What follows is the pros and cons of Pogo.com, and what you can expect in the way of games, payout, and overall experience.

Pogo.com - The Pros
Pogo.com is a wonderful place to spend a little time playing online games for free. The interface is very easy, and it is a website that is very easy to navigate. Nobody will have trouble learning how to play the games, or understanding what the object of each game is.
The selection of games on Pogo.com is quite nice, and you have them broken down into categories of games as well. This is very handy if you only like free online games of a certain type. Some of those categories include board games, arcade games, sports games, etc. Within each category their are a number of great online games to choose from.
The board games on Pogo.com are some of the best online games around. Scrabble, checkers, Monopoly, and many others are very well done, and extremely addictive. The puzzle games are wonderful as well.
Though Pogo.com does offer exclusive games to their members, known as Club Pogo memberships, they do still offer quite a few games for free without a paid membership. This makes for a truly fun gaming experience for anyone seeking free online games without headaches or downloads.
Pogo.com - The Cons
The level of advertisements increases a good bit when you play for free as opposed to buying a Club Pogo membership. Between each game you have an advertisement window pop up and a timer. At least Pogo.com lets you know how long you will be seeing each ad. They still can be rather annoying to the free online game player.
The size of the game window is rather small and the games are sometimes not as entertaining because of it.
The sports games on Pogo.com are rather lame, and offer no real skill sets or sports knowledge. They are not for the true sports online gamer at all. They are more like arcade games for kids.
Pogo.com - The Final Opinion
Pogo.com is a wonderful free online gaming option that most anybody would enjoy. If you can afford the 5.99 per month membership fee, your online gaming experience with Pogo.com is even better. Still, it is among the best free online gaming option available on the Web.

I actually got a pogo account and wasn’t super impressed with it. I think it was the monthly fee that mostly drove me away. But, they do have some games that nobody else does, and the games are of pretty good quality as well as different than the same flash games you see all over the web.
