We all thought that we would be hearing much more about Chris Brown and what he is going through at the moment. After all, his court trial for allegedly beating Rihanna, who was at the time his girlfriend, has not been thrown out by a court judge. Soon, we will learn more about what will happen to Chris Brown. Oddly, he has plead not guilty to the incident even after making a formal apology about his behavior. Rihanna is having some troubles of her own.
Surprisingly, Rihanna is the one who’s making headlines this time around. It seems that the singer will be facing some court issues of her own. Rihanna is being sued by one of her neighbors over a property dispute. Her neighbor claims that Rihanna has allowed other people to trespass into his lawn.
Rihanna rents a house that is located next door to a home owned by a man named Christian Moeller. He is a professor of media art and design at the University of California at Los Angeles. The owner of the home that Rihanna lives in was given an easement, which meant that cars could be driven on a portion of Moeller’s property. When the property was renovated, this easement was not being used.
According to Moeller, Rihanna has been allowing cars to drive on the property in order to get to her driveway. Apparently, there are times when these people simply leave their cars in Moeller’s lawn when they are visiting the singer.
So, what exactly does Moeller want from Rihanna? Why isn’t he suing the owner of the house? For starters, he wants to get rid of the easement. In addition, he is also suing Rihanna for allowing both people and cars to trespass his property.
Is Rihanna wrong for allowing cars to trespass? Or was she simply misinformed by the owner of her home? If she was told that the cars were allowed to use his property in order to get to her driveway, then perhaps she wasn’t. At the same time, she shouldn’t have been allowing cars to park in Moeller’s driveway. Unless we as the public are able to see the type of driveway and yard situation that Rihanna and Christian Moeller have, it seems that we should not be favoring anyone in this case.
