According to TMZ, Madonna was booed during a concert. The reason? She defended gypsies. This happened in Bucharest, Romania. Here, Madonna had gypsy performers, called Roma, come on stage with her during the show. When they originally came on stage, the crowd began cheering for them. However, those cheers did not last too long. When Madonna made the decision to verbally defend the Roma, the entire mood of the audience changed. The crowd began to boo at her.

After eight seasons of sitting on the judge’s panel on the hit television series American Idol, Paula Abdul has officially decided to leave the show. The show seemed to be inching in that direction anyway by bringing in another female judge at the start of last season, yet Paula seemed to have had a choice. If the officials at American Idol were forcing Abdul’s hand, they certainly covered it up well. Abdul announced the decision on her Twitter page.
Halloween II Set To Hit Theaters August 28th
Rob Zombie messed around with horror movie royalty and seemed to pull it off. The 07 hit remake of the original Halloween franchise surely irked some die hard Halloween movie fanatics, but it was largely successful by horror movie standards. The movie was so successful that Zombie is now releasing the sequel to his Halloween movie. The movie, Halloween II, is set to start in theaters on August 28th.

Katherine Jackson, who is the temporary guardian for Michael Jackson’s children, has asked for money. According to People News, Katherine Jackson asked a judge to provide an allowance for the children so that there would be funds available to meet their needs.
Former American Idol Contestant, Alexis Cohen, Has Died
Alexis Cohen, who was a former contestant on American Idol, died on Saturday, July 25, 2009. She was taken to Community Medical Center in Tom’s River by paramedics in Seaside Heights. According to People News, Cohen was pronounced dead at 6:35 a.m. Cohen’s autopsy reports showed injuries which indicate that she was hit by a car and it is believed that she was a victim of a hit and run.
