The book that Lauren Conrad has gotten onto the best seller list is called L.A. Candy. It is about a young girl named Jane who moves to Los Angeles for an internship. Her best friend Scarlett comes along with her to enjoy in all of the fun that Los Angeles has to offer. While living in L.A., Jane and Scarlett are given the opportunity to star in a reality television show series, which will be similar to Sex and the City. L.A. Candy examines what happens to Jane once she has become a reality TV star.
The book is mainly targeted at teenagers and young adults. It is unlikely that it will be the perfect read for everyone. Of course, this is often the case with just about any book.
