The dreaded chick flick is the boon of most any man that has a wife, girlfriend, or sister. There are few men alive that have not been roped into sitting through a chick flick at one time or another, and if you are married, that number goes up big time. Over time, the chick flick has evolved just a bit. It is now acceptable for men to enjoy chick flicks due to the sports/chick flick hybrids that are now out there.

Titanic - Kate Winslett is pretty and all, but she is not why men love Titanic. Men love Titanic because of the super awesome ship sinking scenes at the end of the movie. The people falling, the explosions, and the whole mystery of the Titanic is a universal theme. The love story is generally a side note to the majority of men out there.
Sense and Sensibility - Though some men have never seen this movie, the ones that have generally loved it. The whole Victorian era thing, and Kiera Knightley certainly contribute to this fact. Sense and Sensibility is a movie that reaches all of us. Men and women alike love this movie simply because it puts us in another place and time, and does it in an interesting way.
The Wedding Planner - This movie features Jennifer Lopez in her prime. That alone is enough of a reason to watch it. The fact is, however, that the movie is charming, funny, and very well written. Most men love watching movies that make them laugh and keep them entertained, and this movie fills both of those requirements well.
How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days - This movie is a man secret simply because of the yellow dress that Kate Hudson wears towards the end of the movie. Seriously though, the movie is an absolute gem and funny as it can be. The entire storyline makes fun of the crazy things women do to lose men, so how could any guy not like that? It is worth watching a couple of times simply for the funny scenes throughout.
