Right now we have three big names in drug rehab. Pete Doherty (who probably should set up permanent residence), Mike Tyson (who probably needs mental help as well), and Lindsey Lohan (who has treated her time in rehab like us peons go on vacation). So how is going for them?
Let’s start with Lohan. Her mom says, “She’s amazing. She’s great and she’s happy. She’s in a really good space right now. It’s wonderful at Wonderland - how cheesy” How nice. Following her rehab stint, Lohan plans to move into Marilyn Monroe’s old apartment in LA. Let’s hope Lindsay’s story doesn’t end like Marilyn’s drug overdose.
How bout Iron Mike? Well, he hasn’t bitten anyone’s ear off (yet) so far so good. Sources say of the former boxer, “humblest, sweetest, and most genuinely considerate celebrities.” Wow, Iron Mike has a soft side. When Mike gets out to the real world, he will have to face a judge to answer to answers of a DUI and Cocaine possession. His mood probably won’t be as peachy as it seems to be now.
And as for Pete Doherty, well, there are claims that Kate Moss and him having been duking out lately. So it sounds like status quo over in that camp. After the rockstar leaves his rehab, he has court dates lined up sometime the year 2020. Ok, that might be an exaggeration, but he has a number of unresolved legal issues that must be taken care of. He is lucky the English court system isn’t as punitive as the United States. Stateside, they probably would have taken the key and thrown it away by now.
So here we have three big showbiz names in rehab. And now we have to ponder who is next. The best guess probably would be Britney Spears, as she is currently a drunken slut of a mess.
