Jimmy Fallon Debuts As ‘Late Night’ Host

It’s been almost a year since Jimmy Fallon was tapped as the new host of NBC’s ‘Late Night’ television broadcast, and almost ten days after predecessor Conan O’Brien departed from the show. Fallon made his debut on Monday with an opening night cast of Robert De Niro and Justin Timberlake, and featuring musical guest Van Morrison. The show aired Monday night at 12:35 ET on NBC, and received mostly luke-warm reviews from critics.

Jimmy Fallon Will Debut “Late Night” Online

As most media watchers are already aware, there is a big shakeup coming next year to the late-night TV talk shows. Jay Leno will be retiring from ‘the Tonight Show’ on NBC, and Conan O’Brien will be stepping in to fill his position. FCC Struggles to Remain Relevant: Fines ABC Over 2003 NYPD Blue Episode

You have to love the Federal Communications Commission — or hate them. The FCC is now proposing a $1.4 million indecency fine against ABC television because of a 2003 episode of NYPD Blue, which the Feds say crossed the line of decency, by exposing a partially nude woman.
