Sandra Bullock is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood, primarily because most every movie she touches turns to box office profits. She is also among the most active actresses in Hollywood. While she is not nearly as active as she was earlier in her career, she still has a nice list of movies. Trying to come up with her ten best was a challenge, but I think I have done it.
The Top Ten Sandra Bullock Movies
What Makes a Horror Movie a Classic?
When you think of the classic horror movies, you either think of the early movies such as The Mummy or Dracula, or you think of the staples of modern horror such as Halloween or The Exorcist. Often the difference depends on your age, but some horror enthusiasts enjoy both types and genres. Horror is a very subjective genre to begin with, so from person to person it changes. What makes a horror movie get saddled with such an honorable moniker as “classic” to begin with?
Jessica Alba Joins “Little Fockers” Cast
In July of 2010, the third installment of Meet the Parents will be released. As one could probably guess, the movie is much awaited. The Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers movies have so far been centered on the relationship between Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) and
his father in law, Jack Byrnes (Robert DeNiro). We can expect to see most of the same funny faces, and most likely a similar story line, as that of the former Meet the Parents movie. This time there is going to be something slightly different about this movie, however. Apparently, there will be a new cast member added to the third installment, “Little Fockers.”
Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2 Leaves You Wondering
Rob Zombie has never been one to be shy about laying all his cards on the table. When he took on the original Halloween, he made no bones about the fact that he was doing it his own way. Still, he did manage to at least keep some measure of reverence for the original John Carpenter classic. In Halloween II, he does not even seem to bother at all with such thoughts, and instead reverts to his gore hound frame of mind.

Five Great Horror Movies From 1979
Horror movies have certainly had an up and down ride through the years, but they never stay down long. 1979 was actually a rather interesting year for horror movies, and was fresh off the heels of the red hot Halloween, with Michael Myers. The success of this movie spurred a whole glut of horror movies and eventually the slasher film was a regular thing. The horror movies of 1979 were far from classics, but there were a few that are noteworthy. Here are the best of the year 1979.
Halloween II Set To Hit Theaters August 28th
Rob Zombie messed around with horror movie royalty and seemed to pull it off. The 07 hit remake of the original Halloween franchise surely irked some die hard Halloween movie fanatics, but it was largely successful by horror movie standards. The movie was so successful that Zombie is now releasing the sequel to his Halloween movie. The movie, Halloween II, is set to start in theaters on August 28th.
How Did Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Compare to Other Movies?
It was the first weekend that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was in the movie theater. How did the latest installment of the Harry Potter movie series do? Many had predicted that due to the two year wait, the number of fans of the series would dwindle down and this movie would not be quite as successful as all of the other Harry Potter prequels. Here is a closer look at how well Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince did in comparison to both the other Harry Potter movies, other movies out this weekend, and some of the other big hits that have recently been in theaters. So did Harry Potter face the music?
Five Chick Flicks Most Men Secretly Love
The dreaded chick flick is the boon of most any man that has a wife, girlfriend, or sister. There are few men alive that have not been roped into sitting through a chick flick at one time or another, and if you are married, that number goes up big time. Over time, the chick flick has evolved just a bit. It is now acceptable for men to enjoy chick flicks due to the sports/chick flick hybrids that are now out there.
What Made The Original Halloween Movie So Great?
Halloween is one of the all time classic horror movies of all time, and when you take a look at it closely, you begin to see why. What is it about the original movie that scared so many of us, and turned Michael Myers into such a big draw at the box office? Was it the story? The acting? The music?
