The sleestacks and Will Ferrell are not a combination I ever thought I would see. Will Ferrell stars in the movie Land of the Lost as a washed up scientist turned park ranger lost in time. This movie is going to be a lot of fun if it is remotely as good as the trailers suggest. Ferrell is absolutely perfect in the role as a somewhat slow park ranger that thinks he is smarter than he is. It is right down Ferrell’s alley when it comes to comedy.

The Five Top Reality Crime Television Shows
Reality crime shows have become all the rage in recent years on cable television. With the huge advances in forensic medicine, the shows have become a favorite guilty pleasure. There is something about reality crime shows that grabs your attention and will not let go. There is something about the criminal mind that fascinates us as well, and reality crime television shows do a great job of tapping into that. Here are the five reality crime shows that do it best:
So You Think You Can Dance Is The New American Idol
With Kris Allen walking away with the American Idol crown over favorite Adam Lambert, a huge void has been left on prime time television. When American Idol goes away, television suddenly becomes a little less interesting. The last several years, however, there has been a slow and steadily rising contender to take up the American Idol mantle….”So You Think You Can Dance” is actually becoming quite the contender.
The Top Five Reality Television Shows Of All Time
Reality television has become a part of the very fabric of America. Few forms of entertainment polarizes the American viewing public quite so dramatically as reality television. People either love it or absolutely hate it. Still, it is consistantly among the top rated television shows each and every season, and it is here to stay. What are the top reality shows of all time? After careful consideration, I have narrowed down my top five. Here they are in the order of their ranking:
The Top Five Movies To Make You Cry
The top five movies to make you cry is an exercise in emotions. You have to think back to all the various movies that forced you to shed a tear. To make the top five, it had to make you actually bawl your eyes out. Tear jerkers are always a love/hate type of thing with movie goers. You either love them or hate them, and it usually runs down gender lines. Most gals love them and most guys hate them. The top five movies transcend these lines, however, and include movies that we all love either secretly (guys) or openly. (gals)
The Top Five Soft Rock Hits Of The 70s
Soft rock throughout the 70s always seemed to bring out good feelings in you. Perhaps no other time period and form of music is as powerful in that way. I grew up in the 70s and I can tell you that when I hear a soft 70s hit, it puts me right back in that time period. I can easily close my eyes and feel as though I have been transported right back to that innocent time in my life. Some of the soft rock hits of the 70s are absolutely iconic for me. These are the top five soft rock hits of the 70s for me:
The Top Five Modern Day Sitcoms Of All Time
The sitcom is one of the most iconic fixtures on American television. Throughout the years, many have come and gone. Trying to assemble a top five list of modern day sitcoms of all time was no easy task. Though many sitcoms have had a bit of longevity, only a handful are consistently funny week in and week out. As such, I was able to narrow the list down to the top five. If you disagree, feel free to share your favorites in the comments section down below.
The Top Five Jim Carrey Comedy Movies Of All Time
Jim Carrey is among the most celebrated comedic actors of all time, and his movies are pretty much golden at the box office. It was not always that way for the enigmatic Carrey, but the days of playing the comedy clubs are long over. The sheer volume of Jim Carrey’s work is stunning when you look at it. Not so much in the number of movies, but because of the quality of the comedies. Trying to narrow the top five down was not an easy task, but here are the top five comedy movies Jim Carrey has ever starred in according to me:
The Top Four Russell Crowe Movies Of All Time
Russell Crowe, who is set to play Robin Hood in a new movie coming out later this year, has had quite a career in the movie business. The Australian is famous for being a bit on the fiery side, and it is no small wonder that the majority of his great movies tap into that passion. Regardless of his temper, Russell Crowe is one of the greatest actors of all time. It was not easy to come up with a top four list with so many great choices, but here are the best of the best in my view:
The Top Five Hair Bands Of Rock And Roll
During the history of Rock and Roll we have had more niches and genres pop up than one could possibly count, and yet, one particular niche seems to hang on regardless of anything else going on around it. No matter how many times it appears dead and buried, some new generation comes along and learns to love it all over again. The genre known as hair bands has been rocking us for decades, and will continue to do so for years to come. Though the hair and outfits may look silly, the music keeps us coming back for more year after year. Here are the top five hair bands of all time:
