Once upon a time people listened to music on vinyl records. But they were bulky and round and easily scratched; so eventually 8-track and cassette tapes took over. These formats also had their problems, though, and with the computer age came digital music CDs. From there the music industry evolved to formless, downloadable MP3 files, the most practical means of delivering music ever devised.

John McCain first became known to the American public when his plane was shot down during the Vietnam War and he became a prisoner of war. He served his country admirably and showed a high amount of character and resolve during his time in a prison camp in North Vietnam. John McCain returned from his time as a P.O.W. broken, but not beaten and slowly rose from an officer in the United States military, to a United States Representative, to eventually a United States Senator. John McCain ran for President in the year 2000, but was defeated in the Republican primary by eventual two term President, George W. Bush.
