Three Books Every Preschooler Should Read

If you are a child who is looking for a great book to read, it is important to keep in mind that there are many great options out there for you to choose from. No matter what you are interested in, there is a strong possibility that a book out there is suitable for your interests. Here are three books that every child should read at some point during their lifetime. While it is likely that you will read many of these books in class, there is a good possibility that you may want to read them on your own if you get the chance.

Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss

Almost all children absolutely love Dr. Seuss. There is a strong possibility that you will love “Green Eggs and Ham” by this author. Just like all of Seuss’s other books, “Green Eggs and Ham” follows a rhyming scheme. Once you have read this book, there is a good chance that you will want to read other books by Dr. Seuss, such as “The Cat in the Hat,” and “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.” Whether you are very young or older, it is likely that you will still get a lot of joy out of reading any of the books that Dr. Seuss has written. Preschool is not the same without Dr. Seuss.

Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White

Whether you have seen the movie with Dakota Fanning or not, “Charlotte’s Web” is a great book choice for any kid. At some point, you will want to read this book. E. B. White brings the tale about a pig and a miraculous spider to life. Find out what Charlotte the Spider does to save Wilbur the Pig’s life in this story about true friendship. Any kid who really enjoys animals will be sure to love the book “Charlotte’s Web.”

My Teacher is an Alien by Bruce Coville

If you really love books that have an element of science fiction and mystery to them, “My Teacher is an Alien” by Bruce Coville is an excellent choice for your reading list. The story is about a girl who sees her teacher peel off his face, leading her to believe that he is an alien. Once you read this book, you will want to read the other books in this series, which include “My Teacher Fried My Brains,” “My Teacher Flunked the Planet,” and “My Teacher Glows in the Dark.”

These are just three books that every kid should read at some point during their lifetime. Many young children feel that reading cannot be made fun, but it is important to remember that the joy that you get out of reading is going to ultimately depend on the books that you read. If you choose books that are very enjoyable, it is likely that you will not mind reading. In fact, you will probably find that you really like it! There is no reason that you will have to cheat on your book reports again if you are able to choose books which are both entertaining and easy to read.
