I would like to add to your list also Uptodate fashion academy. I studied there and it was an amazing experience: great program, i had fashion styling course, wonderful location, talented teachers and very nice staff. I had also the opportunities during the fashion week to attend 6 fashion shows thanks the invitation the academy gave us.

I am quite disgusted with this “best of the best review”

3 of the worlds TOP schools aren’t even listed here… I’m sorry but I don’t feel FIDM is one of the best… Just look at their graduation shows… Its more like a Broadway Play than actually showing great design.

I’m curious to find out why Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, And You can’t forget the hidden gem of a school in Antwerp Belgium whom I’ve heard many students from the listed schools above state that they wished they could have studied in Antwerp. Some even have dropped their education in those schools to move to Belgium and try to be accepted to the Mode Akademie…

Not to mention there should have been some mention about the school’s listed below:

Beckman’s of Stockholm
Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication London, Polimoda in Florence Italy,
Arnhem Academy of Art & Design Belgium,
ESMOD Paris (Multiple Locations)
Studio Berçot,
IFA Paris & Shanghai,
Ecole de la chambre syndicale de la couture parisienne in Paris.

There you have my idea of what should be up here…

Zack,

I agree that St. Martins should be on the list. For example Sofia Kokosalaki.
The Arnhem Academy of Art&Design is not in Belgium but in The Netherlands!
Most famous designers from this Academy are Viktor & Rolf.
